Healthcare equipment specialists Sidhil Ltd. has been acquired by Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare Ltd. (Drive), a leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of durable medical products, in a deal advised by Clearwater International.
With an established history in the healthcare market dating back well over a century, Sidhil is the UK’s leading manufacturer of innovative hospital and home healthcare beds, furniture and accessories. With a strong reputation for product design and development, the company serves both national and international private and public healthcare markets. Sidhil’s clinically focused designs and advanced manufacturing capabilities are built around the supply of safe and relevant products that improve comfort and quality of life for patients whilst reducing workloads for carers.
Headquartered in New York, Drive manufactures a complete line of medical products including mobility products, sleep and respiratory products, beds, bariatric products, wheelchairs and more, and markets its products to customers throughout the world. The business has recently undergone a recapitalisation with US PE house Clayton Dubilier & Rice, to fund continued international growth.
This transaction will provide Sidhil with further resources for expansion, whilst allowing Drive to access Sidhil’s product portfolio, extend its customer base in the U.K. and Europe, and expand its manufacturing capabilities.
