The engineer and production company Seelen in Esbjerg has been acquired by Industrial Automation Group. The owner of Seelen through the latest 20 years, Lars Schou, has for a long period of time wished to secure the company’s future through a succession which now is completed successfully.

Seelen is a modern engineering and manufacturing company specialising in developing solutions and cold-end equipment for Mineral Wool production.

Industrial Automation Group is the former Jokan Invest A/S, which was behind JOKAN Systems A/S. The company was acquired in June by the former CEO in Toms Gruppen, Henrik Frisch. JOKAN System is one of the leading suppliers of internal conveyor and material handling solutions in Scandinavia and is far ahead in the development of new methods and tools.

The synergies between the two companies are the reason for the acquisition of Seelen by Industrial Automation Group A/S. Seelen employ 113 people and had a gross profit of 78 mDKK in 2005/06. Together the two companies will have a turnover of more than 300 mDKK and has altogether 280 employees in Denmark.
