Nutramino develops and markets fitness and sports nutrition products with focus on sales in fitness centers and convenience stores in Scandinavia.
Since the foundation of the company in 2002, Nutramino has grown to become a leading player on the Scandinavian market for sports nutrition products – a position, which has been achieved via the Company’s unique “full service solution”, that features a complete product, marketing, and service solution tailored for fitness centers. Nutramino has historically realized annual growth rates of +40%. In the years to come, a continued growth is expected, driven by further penetration of the surrounding Scandinavian markets. The sellers, Per Jensen and Thomas Kjærgaard, will remain in the Company going forward.
The buyer, Glanbia plc, is listed on the London and Dublin Stock Exchanges, and is a leading international nutritional ingredients and cheese group with sales in more than 130 countries. Glanbia Performance Nutrition is a consumer products division within Glanbia that manufacturers and markets performance nutrition products globally, including the brands Optimum Nutrition and BSN.
