The seller, Michael Averhoff, retains the remaining 20% and will continue as CEO of the Company. Averhoff collects and handles about 17,000 tons of electronic waste per year (WEEE). Averhoff is the leading Company within its field in Denmark and the company has been in constant growth for the past 10 years.
Kuusakoski Oy is a Finnish family-owned global company with offices in Scandinavia, Europe, the Baltics, Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia, and the USA with a turnover of nearly 550 million Euro.
The primary business of Kuusakoski is trading and processing of ferrous metals. The acquisition of Averhoff, opens up new growth opportunities in the field of treatment of electronic waste.
