The investment firm Kirk & Thorsen has acquired 68% stake in Vinderup Træbyg, a niche company that over 20 years have produced prefabricated pavilion and modular buildings for institutional and office use. Despite the crisis in the building industry the company has maintained a solid operation. With Kirk & Thorsen in the ownership the company gets a good opportunity to further develop Vinderup Træbyg at a very competitive market.
Kirk & Thorsen is a privately held investment firm that primarily invests in small and medium-sized Danish enterprises. The change of ownership, executed in a partial Kirk & Thorsen owned company, happens as a natural consequence of the owner Leif Møller’s desire to implement a planned succession.
Dan Jensen and Sand Heine Jakobsen increase their stake in the company and remain part of the company’s management. Besides Kirk & Thorsen Michael Mortensen enter the company’s ownership.
