Kello acquired by DK Company

Clearwater Advisor

The Danish fashion company Kello was after a difficult period declared bankrupt. The bankruptcy estate behind Kello sold the assets to DK Company, a significant player in the Danish fashion industry and Kello will in future be a part of the subsidiary DKC Classic Division.

DK Company wants to develop DKC Classic Division both by acquisitions and by organic growth. The market for adult fashion is attractive both domestically and internationally, and DK Company saw the acquisition as an opportunity to develop their adult fashion business further.

Conceptwise Kello fits into the division’s range of fashion brands like Pardon, Choise, Liva, Deluca and Blue Willi’s. The Kello-collections will still be based on its old virtues of good fit and quality, nice finish and a high design profile.
