Clearwater International has advised NN Markedsdata ApS (NN Markedsdata) on its sale to the private equity backed company Bisnode A/S (Bisnode). The sellers include Poul Thyregod, Thyregod Invest ApS and Per Kirchner, Kirchner ApS.
Founded in 1997, NN Markedsdata has a strong position within credit and marketing data and data-driven consultancy services in Denmark. NN Markedsdata, during recent years, has experienced remarkable growth in revenue and profits, to become the leading company within its field in Denmark.
The purchaser, Bisnode is a leading European data & analytics company, with operations in 18 countries and 2,400 employees. The acquisition of NN Markedsdata is the latest of a series of strategic acquisitions made by Bisnode in Denmark in order to strengthen the consumer data business. Since 2012, the company has bought among others InfoDirekt, Debitor Registret and DKS Skyldnerregister in order to provide credit and marketing information on both companies and individual consumers in Denmark.
Clearwater International advised the shareholders of NN Markedsdata on the sale, led by Partner Per Surland with support from Associate Casper Norre Christensen.
