Clearwater International has advised Or Brun shareholders LFPI and management on the disposal of Or Brun, French leader in natural gardening products to Eléphant Vert.
Founded in 1968, Groupe Or Brun, the iconic brand within the French gardening market, offers a complete range of products: organic amendments, growing mediums, fertilisers, mulches, and treatment products, all usable in organic agriculture.
The group employs over 60 collaborators in France and manufactures its products in its two factories of Saint Jean de Monts and Thiel-sur-Acolin, and distributes in specialised stores in France, Benelux and Switzerland.
Eléphant Vert, is a group which acts and argues in favour of organic and sustainable agriculture, with the support of Fondation Antenna, the business has 300 employees in five countries in Africa and Europe (including France) and develops organic amendments, biofertilisers, biostimulants and 100% natural biopesticides through four manufacturing units.
Together, these two organic pure players wish to consolidate their development strategy as it pertains to the manufacturing and the commercialisation of 100% natural products for both farming and gardening. Based on modern and effective R&D, innovation is a key element of their common DNA, and their ambition is to promote efficient, ecologically sustainable and responsible solutions for the whole of the organic market.
