Clearwater International has advised Lesaffre, one of the world’s leading specialists in yeast and fermentation, on its acquisition of Tecno Bakery, a developer of innovative enzyme applications.
Headquartered in France, Lesaffre is one of the world’s leading specialists in yeast and fermentation. Lesaffre designs, manufactures and markets innovative solutions for baking, food flavourings, health and biotechnology. The company, which has 55 plants in 40 countries, generated revenue of nearly €1.8 billion in 2015.
Tecno Bakery is a Spanish company whose main activity is the development of innovative and custom enzymatic applications for the milling, baking, and fruits and seeds sub-sectors.
