Clearwater International has advised Al-Ayuni on acquiring Kosan Crisplant.

Headquartered in Denmark, Kosan Crisplant supplies equipment, plants and systems for the filling and maintenance of Liquid Petroleum (LP) gas cylinders as well as offering after-sales and engineering services, facility management, and components supplies to the gas industry. Since 1951, the group has supplied over 2,600 plants in nearly 130 countries across the globe.

Al-Ayuni is a major road and civil works construction company based in Saudi Arabia, which moved into the field of energy infrastructure projects several years ago. In 2013, Al-Ayuni acquired Siraga – a leading company within the LPG market, based in France.

Al-Ayuni’s international companies will be managed by Makeen Energy, a newly founded company owned by Al-Ayuni with its base in Denmark. The current CEO of Kosan Crisplant, Anders C. Anderson, will become CEO of Makeen Energy and his first task will be the integration of the Kosan Crisplant and Siraga businesses within the new group.

“The acquisition of Kosan Crisplant will strengthen our position as a leader within the energy sector globally. We believe that Kosan Crisplant and Siraga have strong synergies which will give both companies a solid platform for further growth.”

Abdul Kareem Al-Ayuni, Vice President at Al-Ayuni Group (AICC)

“Makeen Energy will be a very effective player, following the integration of two strong teams. We can extend our reach even further and better support our customers in their daily lives, as well as providing a strong offering in terms of services and new developments with the new company.”

Anders C. Anderson, CEO at Kosan Crisplant
