Healthcare Sector Comment – November 2013

Date

November saw the completion of 12 deals in the UK healthcare market. An interesting deal saw Healthcare at Home – backed by Vitruvian Partners – acquire MediHome, the UK provider of acute homecare services for NHS and private patients. This deal means Healthcare at Home can further increase its client base and continue to add more high value services to the NHS.

International healthcare specialists BUPA completed the acquisition of Instore Dental and Store Dental Care. These newly acquired companies operate dental surgeries in six supermarkets, covering the North West and South East of the UK.
