Clearwater International Denmark has advised the seller of JGH Marine A/S, a Denmark-based company that specialises in maritime construction and supplies, and Johs. Gram-Hanssen A/S, a Denmark-based trading business, on its sale to Pitzner Group and management.
Johs. Gram-Hanssen mainly works with UN organisations, but also internationally funded projects, and specialises in four categories; construction materials, trucks and machinery, security and protection equipment, and solar and electrical equipment. The company has an in-house project development team with engineers contributing specialist knowledge primarily within delivery of turnkey solar projects that include sourcing of materials, complete installation, training and maintenance. Johs. Gram-Hanssen collaborates with renowned manufacturers, particularly in China, and has extensive knowledge in handling logistics in Africa and other developing countries.
JGH Marine specialises in building and supplying vessels. The vessels vary significantly in size and are built to operate on either coastal or inland waters. The ships include amongst other ferries, transport vessels, tugs, barges, and off-shore patrol vessels. JGH Marine has in-house design capacity, but also collaborates with naval architects and engineers in Denmark, the Netherlands, and South Africa.
