Clearwater International has advised Liquid Personnel Limited (Liquid), social work recruitment consultancy, on its sale to leading healthcare staffing providers, Independent Clinical Services (ICS).
Founded in 2006, Liquid is a market leader in recruiting social work professionals for NHS Trusts, fostering agencies, charities and private organisations across the UK.
ICS is a leading provider of health, life sciences and social care staffing and services to the UK health sector: recruiting specialist professionals to UK and international customers; providing managed service staffing solutions and health and wellbeing services and delivering care and nursing support to people with complex conditions in their homes.
Liquid has achieved strong growth over the last few years and ICS’s new investment will ensure future company growth and the development of new services for customers.
Clearwater International advised Liquid, led by partner Paul Newell and supported by associate director Oliver Wheatley and associate James Kennedy.
Jonathan Coxon and Alex Elliot, Co-Founders, Liquid Personnel said: « We’re delighted that ICS will be taking the business into its next period of expansion. With ICS, Liquid will continue to provide high quality staff and services to the social work market, and we are excited about the support and additional expertise that ICS can bring to the company.”
Richard MacMillan, CEO, ICS, added: “There’s a growing demand placed on social care services across the UK which means it’s critical that the right skills are in the right places. ICS is here to help organisations find the staff they need to deliver first class specialist services and support. I’m confident this new acquisition will bring together the complementary strengths and skills of Liquid Personnel with those of ICS, to provide an even wider range of services to our mutual customers.”
Paul Newell, Partner, Clearwater International commented: “We’re pleased to have advised Liquid Personnel on the sale – ICS is a great fit for Liquid. The benefits to each party are unrivalled, ICS can continue to develop its status within the recruitment market and Liquid can expand its reach to a global market.”
