Clearwater International advises Almaren on finance package

Clearwater International has advised housebuilder Almaren Homes on a new finance package, with funding being provided by Pluto Finance.

Almaren has been building houses in the East of England since 2006 and specialises in providing varied housing to meet local market demand. As the real estate market continued to improve, this ambitious company was looking for a finance package which would support its growth.

Following a competitive process, the funding has been provided by Pluto Finance – a leading provider of residential development financing. The first scheme to be funded is Anglian House – a prime location in the centre of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, which will become luxury apartments. This is the start of a long-term relationship between Almaren and Pluto, with many more schemes to come.

Clearwater International advised Almaren, led by partner Chris Smith with support from associate director Tom Barnwell.

“Clearwater International were able to help us to understand what financing options were available to us and used their market insights to introduce us to the right people. We look forward to a long-term relationship with Pluto Finance.”

Chris Walling, Chairman, Almaren

“We are pleased to have been able to work with Almaren in assisting them with securing this important funding. This finance will be put to great use in a project which will benefit a thriving business community. Deals like this are a timely reminder of how debt packages can allow entrepreneurial businesses to make their equity work harder.”
