Clearwater International France has advised the shareholders of Crèches de France on the disposal of the group to Crèche Attitude, a subsidiary of Sodexo Group, one of the world leaders in quality of life services.
Founded in 2004 by Philippe Austruy, Crèches de France is one of the largest players in the private child-care market in France. Its 97 sites are primarily located in Ile-de-France, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Grand Ouest.
The new entity aims to become one of the major players in the childcare market. Following the acquisition of Crèches de France, the group is now a network of over 250 owned sites with a national coverage, as well as more than 1,200 sites in collaboration with other players.
SIS Group, a family-owned group founded by Philippe Austruy, specialises in dependency markets where major private hospitalisation structures have been established, and in infancy care in France and the rest of Europe.
The Clearwater International team, composed of Benjamin Zayat, Managing Partner, Guillaume Fenni, Associate, and Robin Perbet, Analyst, advised SIS Group in this transaction.
Didier Sandoz, Chief Executive Officer, Sodexo Personal and Home Services commented: “Both Crèche Attitude and Crèches de France pay special attention to the development of infants, to listening, kindness and availability for families, with maximum health and safety. This acquisition helps us strengthen our position in France with high-quality teams, but also and above all to always offer more value to our clients.”
Benjamin Zayat, Managing Partner, Clearwater International France said: “Crèches de France’s acquisition by Crèche Attitude, a subsidiary of Sodexo Group, is the first major consolidation operation in the private child-care sector. This transaction enables Crèches de France to pursue its development with the support of one of the world leaders in the service sector.”
