Clearwater advises Vindon Scientific on its acquisition by Zeus Capital

Vindon Scientific Limited, the leading provider of environmental control products and services in the UK and Ireland has been acquired by Manchester-based Zeus Capital and subsequently floated on AIM.

Vindon’s shareholders were advised by Clearwater International, led by partner Mike Reeves and assistant director Jon Mercer.

The company is a total solutions provider to the pharmaceutical, life sciences, utilities and food sectors for the management of temperature, light and humidity controlled storage requirements. Its products include; controlled environment rooms, blood banks, plant growth chambers, incubators and ovens together with fridges, freezers and refrigerators.

Vindon also provides a range of services which include; maintenance service contracts, validation services and ‘off site’ stability storage.

Over the last 36 years Vindon has built up an impressive client base of major pharmaceutical companies, including Glaxo SmithKline, Astra Zeneca and Pfizer.

Based in Oldham, near Manchester the company has experienced growth in recent years, largely due to repeat business built on its reputation of meeting the exacting needs of its client base.

Alan Roylance, who has been with the business for 26 years, will continue for a transitional period.
