Clearwater International has welcomed four students to its 12-month UK internship programme. The placement offers the interns a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the country’s leading independent corporate finance house.
The scheme is aimed at undergraduates on their university placement years, offering the students an exciting introduction to the world of corporate finance, private equity and M&A. For Clearwater, it is a chance to view some of the brightest business talent at an early stage, and hopefully identify some of the corporate finance world’s future stars.
This year, the programme has welcomed Ravinder Judge and Maryam Tahir from Aston University, Janice Au from Warwick Business School, and Max Williamson from The University of Nottingham. The interns will work in Clearwater’s research and deal origination team, whilst also supporting experienced deal leaders on current assignments.
The students will be working across all four of Clearwater’s UK offices, in London, Birmingham, Nottingham and Manchester.
Ravinder Judge, a student at Aston University, said: “I’m so pleased to be given the opportunity to work with such a well-renowned company as Clearwater. I’m confident that this experience will serve me well in the future, providing me with a competitive edge over other graduates in this difficult job market.”
Phil Burns, managing partner at Clearwater, said: “The students on this year’s programme have been selected from a large number of highly-skilled applicants. We trust that we can provide our interns with a valuable introduction to the world of corporate finance, and we look forward to working closely with such talented individuals.”
