Clearwater strengthens international credentials

Clearwater Corporate Finance has strengthened its London office by welcoming Daniela Inglez as an analyst in its consumer team.

An experienced analyst, Daniela has held roles at Axa Private Equity, as well as in the private equity team in the World Bank. Daniela will be at the forefront of Clearwater’s effort to grow its international M&A business.

In her new role, Daniela will be responsible for conducting market analysis and will feed the information back to Clearwater’s consumer team. This will enable the team to enhance their positioning and ultimately be in a stronger position to source new deals.

Marc Gillespie, partner at Clearwater’s London offices, said: “We’re thrilled to have Daniela on board with us. Her commercial acumen and her knowledge of Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese will undoubtedly prove to be a great asset whilst working on cross-border deals.”

Daniela Inglez, analyst for Clearwater’s consumer team, said: “I was initially drawn to Clearwater because it has continued to do well in recent years, despite difficult market conditions. I’m really excited to have joined the consumer team and I’ve found everyone to be very welcoming and friendly.

“We have seen increasing interest from overseas companies keen to gain a footing in the UK market and we expect to see this trend continue over the next year.”

Clearwater has recently advised on a number of international deals, including Dutch Macintosh Retail Group NV on its acquisition of Jones the Bootmaker and British Tritech Group Limited, a manufacturer of complex investment castings, on its cross-border sale to the Indian group, Uni Deritend Limited.
