Clearwater International supports Fondation de la 2e chance

Since 2016, Clearwater International’s French team has been engaged in charitable activities. One of these has been La Fondation de la 2e Chance.

Created in 1998, La Fondation de la 2e Chance’s main objective is to mentor participants aged 18 to 62 who have experienced extreme difficulties in life and come from a lower income bracket, but have expressed a desire to turn their lives around. La Fondation de la 2e Chance offers counseling as well as financial support (up to €8,000 for creation/takeover projects and €5,000 for training projects) to carry out a realistic and sustainable professional project: skills training, creation or takeover of a company.

Members of the Clearwater International team, from Analysts to Managing Partners, have volunteered to mentor project leaders by dedicating time and knowledge to individuals by providing financial and operational counselling as well as moral support.

One of the more recent projects to date has been mentoring Corinne P., who wished to create her own business as an independent private chauffeur contractor, with the ambition of developing a network of clients in the Paris region. A team composed of Thomas Picquette, Associate Director and Valentin Cassan, Senior Analyst mentored Corrine throughout the process of creating her company.

“My first days as an independent private chauffeur contractor went very well. I had excellent feedback from my clients. I just received my payment terminal so that my clients can pay onboard with their credit card. Many thanks to Clearwater International for their support and help in the realisation of my project.”
