The Birmingham office of Clearwater Corporate Finance – the UK’s largest independent Corporate Finance boutique – has advised on the sale of Cintex to Spectris plc for an undisclosed sum.
Cintex designs, manufactures and installs a wide range of equipment used to detect product defects, specification variances or potentially harmful contaminants.
Based in Milton Keynes and with operations in the United States, France and Germany the company provides a global service to a client base predominantly in the food, textile and pharmaceutical sectors.
Spectris plc is the precision instrumentation and controls company quoted on the London Stock Exchange. Its sixteen businesses have sales of over £550 million and help blue chip customers around the world to increase their productivity and process efficiency.
